As a farmer I can drive a tractor and operate a combine, and I know my way around a hog barn, listing off different equipment as I go. But one of my greatest joys beyond the fields is my kitchen. Cooking is where my heart shines especially when my kids come home. There’s something incredibly special about preparing a meal for my kids, holiday gathering or an easy meal for the field during harvest. Or baking up something sweet for family and friends. I consider myself lucky to have the gift of cooking and bakin, and I love using fresh, wholesome ingredients that farmers grow. Rachel is a seasoned video professional in the livestock construction industry, with extensive experience in filming and producing content focused on the pork industry. Her work has been featured worldwide in industry-leading platforms, including Swineweb and National Post Frame Builders. Where Rachel’s People of Ag company video interviews are posted in daily pork industry newsletters and on their website and social media channels. Rachel also currently serves on the Iowa Pork PR Committee, further solidifying her role as a key advocate for livestock. As a dedicated Iowa farm mama, Rachel combines her hands on knowledge of livestock with her passion for storytelling, making for a trusted voice in the agricultural community.

The Midwest.

Some refer to Iowa as a "Flyover State." While high school classmates were saying, "I can't wait to leave this place..." I couldn't imagine anywhere other than Iowa to be my home. I love showing hidden gems in area communities, road trips, and PIE! (For real... pie is my favorite dish to order ANYTIME OF DAY!)
