As a seventh-generation Iowa farmer, Rachel Fishback understands the dedication, resilience and leadership women bring to agriculture. Rachel farms corn and soybeans with her brother, Vinny, on their family farm in Southeast Iowa while using her Iowa Farm Mama platform to share an authentic look at farming, family life and rural America.
Rachel is the Founder and Host of Pork Industry News and the Women in the Pork Industry series to recognize the women helping move agriculture forward. Through personal interviews and videos, she introduces viewers to women farmers, pork producers, veterinarians, agribusiness professionals, educators and industry leaders. Stories to highlight the wide variety of careers available in agriculture and the important contributions women make throughout the pork supply chain.
Rachel’s commitment to agricultural leadership extends beyond the camera. She has been involved with Women in Ag Tech and has served on the Iowa Pork Producers Association Public Relations Committee. Her community leadership includes service with the Washington County Farm Bureau and 18 years as an Iowa 4-H leader. These experiences have strengthened her passion for supporting farm families, developing future leaders and helping people better understand modern agriculture.
As an Iowa farmer, agriculture content creator and television host on AcresTV, Rachel has participated in media interviews, with Shark Farmer, Ag Bull Media, Iowa PBS Market to Market, speaking engagements and agriculture panels with Iowa Farm Bureau Young Farmers Committee, Iowa State Fair Cooking Demonstrations, Iowa Eats Food & Drink Festival and AGPHD Field Day. She creates engaging videos featuring women farmers and agribusiness leaders while helping agricultural organizations tell meaningful stories through a trusted, farm-rooted voice.
